"Let’s start with Perfect! Spotless clean, modern, all the obvious facilities, well presented, quiet and only 30 second walk to the seafront and great places to eat or just walk. "The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"A very friendly welcome when we arrived. The property is in a quiet street within easy walk of the Hoe, Barbican and the city centre. Parking can be difficult, but there were spaces when we arrived. Instructions are sent by the owner after booking, but it basically involves a pass for some free parking and paying for the rest. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. There is a shower in the ensuite, but as this is only protected by a shower curtain, the floor...

"We found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated next to the Drake mall and under 10 minutes downhill to the Barbican (fun navigating through the 6 foot wide lanes!). Take the lift to - 1. Very good value for the facilities provided and surpasses rival budget chains on price and location. Although next to a busy dual carriageway, the double glazing and air-conditioning blot out most of the noise. Breakfast was fine and the Engligh is well cooked, albeit limited to 7 items. Pastries run out fast and bananas don't exist! Plymouth is a large University city and so if you prefer a more sedate visit then avoid term times - offering you 4 months in the year. Leonardo does well in this hotel. Enjoy your stay - we did! "
