"You need a car if you are staying at this hotel. No beach access anywhere close by. Beautiful room, but soo humid. Breakfast is nice but very minimal and simple. Really far down the hotel strip. Very secluded. Nice staff. Clean pretty and natural hotel, but very quiet with no amenities at all."

"This hotel has salty water in the bathroom and shower. Made it very uncomfortable to shower and brush teeth. Rooms are super small. Staff is nice and helpful. Beach is small but cozy. Our room was facing the main road and we could hear everything. There is pharmacy right across from this hotel. For the price they charge per night, they should have fresh water in the bathroom. They do have convenient parking and few places to eat very close by. "

"
great experience. room was very clean and quiet, except for the local wildlife.
it's beautiful traditional architecture with a great courtyard.
*air conditioning worked!
multiple good food varieties in close proximity. the hotel is located in a shopping district
i was out walking the streets around midnight and felt perfectly safe.
I will stay at this property again. "

"Un hotel sencillo pero perfecto para una escapada. El desayuno estaba muy rico y completo. El staff, tanto del hotel como de los restaurantes, fueron súper amables. Regresaría sin pensarlo."
"Stayed in Room 1 which was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was solid. Be aware that the walls are VERY thin and this is NOT a party place."
"Lovely rustic place. Beds are comfortable and rue beach is lovely. I noticed it was o e of few places that cleaned up their beach section daily.
If you're only lookong for a place to sleep this is a good option, but if what to vacation and veg at the hotel, go somewhere else.
I would not recommend this place for everyone. I loved it, but the hydro and water is shotty. One morning there was no water, we had to abide by "if its yellow let it mellow, if its brown flush it down", there was no hot water the first night but no issues the other nights.
This is the quiet section of the hotel zone and no restaurant at the hotel. But some good food near by.
Do be aware there is no fresh water at the hotel. If fact all fresh water must be trucked into the hotel zone. 1l of chlorinated water is provided daily with no meams to keep it cold.

"Casa Zaba was amazing! We will definitely return for the seclusion & beautiful home. We took referrals from the management for a private Chef (Pablo) and massages in home (Clara). We enjoyed each meal curated and presented on the porch table; fresh & amazing! You could hear the waves while getting the best massage you’ve ever had. Both referrals were absolutely outstanding. The management host was extremely communicative & responsive. The daily staff who live on the property were so sweet and kind & did an excellent job with housekeeping. You are WAY down beach road if you’ve ever been to this part of Tulum. That’s great as there’s a lot less noise (minus some bass at night from a nearby club, but only the top floor bed can hear it & the loud ocean waves do a good job of drowning it out). You’ll want to get grocery service or hit the store on the way if you go in high season. You will NOT want to drive up and down the road unless it’s early morning & you’re not an anxious driver (if you are - get a ride!). I prefer driving in Mexico & the autonomy to go on private excursions; the seclusion was worth the drive! Walkable eats: Loco - amazing food with pleasant staff. La Onda had the best prices and “world’s best pizza” & Fruitti de Mare with homemade fettuccine with flour flown in from Italy; O.M.G. Amazing! Take time to chat with the owner Mateo! KOOKs diving for cenotes & SoundHealingTulum for out of this worth adventures!"
