"This place was just perfect for us. Great view of the ocean and pool. Nice breeze at night. Lovely grounds and walking every morning on the beach. Our favorite place for breakfast was at El Zebra next door. We snorkeled and dove at nearby Akumal. Great trip."
"It has all the amenities and beach access of a larger resort with a small resort atmosphere.the service was great the staff was friendly and attentive and it was near a convenience store for basic essentials although a larger resort has more socializing you get direct beach access, music, and service and the pool was very clean.Everything youd expect in a tulum resort...rooms were very comfy however it needed a litle more comfortable seating for those that enjoy breaks from playa indoors.."
"Amazing experience definitely Highly recommend, love the attention from everyone of the staff,

"I didn’t want to leave & cannot wait to go back! The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay; 10/10 super friendly & attentive service. The entry to the hotel is very unassuming which I appreciated. Despite the party vibe outside of the hotel, I slept fairly well. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs & an eye mask. I stayed in Astra 1 which is a little less rustic than the other options on the property. The food and beverages were very good, and there is a convenience store & a coffee shop that is open earlier nearby if needed. We did lose power one morning, but it was resolved within the hour of staff receiving notice. This is a great stay for people who are well traveled/lower maintenance. Ether is an absolute GEM. "
"Lovely rustic place. Beds are comfortable and rue beach is lovely. I noticed it was o e of few places that cleaned up their beach section daily.
If you're only lookong for a place to sleep this is a good option, but if what to vacation and veg at the hotel, go somewhere else.
I would not recommend this place for everyone. I loved it, but the hydro and water is shotty. One morning there was no water, we had to abide by "if its yellow let it mellow, if its brown flush it down", there was no hot water the first night but no issues the other nights.
This is the quiet section of the hotel zone and no restaurant at the hotel. But some good food near by.
Do be aware there is no fresh water at the hotel. If fact all fresh water must be trucked into the hotel zone. 1l of chlorinated water is provided daily with no meams to keep it cold.

"Casa Zaba was amazing! We will definitely return for the seclusion & beautiful home. We took referrals from the management for a private Chef (Pablo) and massages in home (Clara). We enjoyed each meal curated and presented on the porch table; fresh & amazing! You could hear the waves while getting the best massage you’ve ever had. Both referrals were absolutely outstanding. The management host was extremely communicative & responsive. The daily staff who live on the property were so sweet and kind & did an excellent job with housekeeping. You are WAY down beach road if you’ve ever been to this part of Tulum. That’s great as there’s a lot less noise (minus some bass at night from a nearby club, but only the top floor bed can hear it & the loud ocean waves do a good job of drowning it out). You’ll want to get grocery service or hit the store on the way if you go in high season. You will NOT want to drive up and down the road unless it’s early morning & you’re not an anxious driver (if you are - get a ride!). I prefer driving in Mexico & the autonomy to go on private excursions; the seclusion was worth the drive! Walkable eats: Loco - amazing food with pleasant staff. La Onda had the best prices and “world’s best pizza” & Fruitti de Mare with homemade fettuccine with flour flown in from Italy; O.M.G. Amazing! Take time to chat with the owner Mateo! KOOKs diving for cenotes & SoundHealingTulum for out of this worth adventures!"
