"R Residents Resort was a nice stay although the little pool was merky and not very appealing! The room was comfortable but overall, quite expensive for what you got. Each room has parking which would be beneficial for those with a car."
"This place was amazing between the pools and beach. It wasn’t very busy there when we stayed in Feb not sure what time might be the busy season for them. Also very few people in this area speak any English so brush up on your Thai or have your translation app at the ready. "
"The hotel feels like a scam. Don’t go. It was dirty and filthy, with bloodstains on the curtains and a green, neglected pool. The price is at least five times too high for what you get. The place is very poorly maintained, and there were no other guests besides us. It seems they are just waiting to take advantage of unsuspecting visitors.
The hotel does not match the photos shown on Expedia or similar sites. The building is very old; the shower heads were covered in lime scale, and the bedsheets...
"This hotel is expensive for what it offers... It's a noisy location and while the room and bed were OK, everything else is poorly maintained or plain dirty, we skipped breakfast just by looking at the food- the location, next to the main road, doesn't help with noise ... Not recommended "

Climb the hill to Khao Wang palace complex where you'll find temples, caves, and troops of monkeys roaming freely. Explore the town's famous dessert shops and night markets before visiting Wat Mahathat Worawihan, a temple with distinctive Khmer-style prangs.
"An excellent stay for a short getaway from BKK. We went during a long Mother’s Day weekend so the place was a bit packed at first. After Sunday/Monday, we pretty much had the entire resort to ourselves. This property is meticulously well manicured. Great dining options on premise. I highly recommend Casa Mare which is their most high end restaurant right by the water. If you are traveling without a car then you need to use grab/bolt which can be tricky as Cha Am is more remote and low key. It’s our first time in Cha Am as we usually stay in Hua Hin and BKK.
There is also a strip of small bars and local restaurants about 5-10 minutes away…and of course a 7-11!
There are 2 hotel pools; one for adults and one for kids. The water seems a bit mucky and wasn’t as clear so I never used it. Other than that, it’s a beautifully large resort and would definitely return. "

A really cozy hotel in Cha Am, in a quiet area where privacy is your best friend. The entrance sign on the roadside is pretty hard to spot. At the end of a pretty narrow road is where Veranda is situated, right next to the beach.
We upgraded our stay to 2-bedroom duplex saltwater pool villa with a really reasonable upgrade price. We love the layout of this duplex especially the in-ground jacuzzi that gives you a feeling of a private spa. However, the main light switches are weirdly located right next to the refrigerator. The villa is pretty worn-out with signs of retouching throughout the entire place. Stains on most fabric furnitures. Great selections of breakfast starts from 6:30-10:30 daily. The senior security staff are extremely helpful and polite! thumbs up!
Overall, a really great stay with peaceful and private atmosphere. Though some upgrades of room touchpoints are required. A clean and playable beach."
"Amazing staff. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the pool was a favorite for my toddler. Lots of activities for the little one.
Quiet and far from the busy city but a 20 min grab taxi ride gets you to markets and mall.

"Nice Location with two pools one of them near the beach staff was really on spot with requests. They changed our rooms. The first one had defective air conditioning and the batteries needed changing in the safe n door lock but they took care of those things right away the Bellmen were on it stepped out of the cab, took our luggage up to the room. Friendly staff all around. The only things that could use improving or change the carpet at the entrance of our rooms and the narrow old bathtub will be better if it were an open shower. Nice to have a 7-11 in front. Awesome sun rise view from our room "
