"Pleasant old style Inn with accommodation in separate building. The bedroom had very comfortable bed with fluffy pillows. The bathroom was a bit cramped and had a very noisy extractor fan. There was no provision to dry towels as radiator was off, I guess during summer months and a lamp was not working over the shower. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both evening meals which were very good. The noisy fan was mentioned to the staff. "
"From our warm welcome on arrival, we found a really comfortable room, good local information from our hosts and a fabulous breakfast! A great stay in a fabulous location."

I love Peebles, if I could choose where to live in Scotland, Peebles would be the perfect place! There's so much to do in the area and within close proximity to Edinburgh too.

The town of Peebels is quaint and adorable. We especially enjoyed Moy MacKay gallery and the chocolate shop Cocoa Black.

Great place to spend a few nights. Lovely well maintained town with lots to do.
"It was my first time staying at a pod hotel and I must say - that left me with a good impression. At first I had been most concerned about the cleanliness, especially with the toilet, but turns out that was unnecessary - the bathroom, from the showers to the toilets, was clean enough for me.
As for the bed, save a single strand of hair I found on my mattress, which I found acceptable as it could be from the cleaning staff, there was nothing to complain about. As most of the guests respect the rule of keeping quiet in the sleeping area, I was able to sleep undisturbed all night.
In terms of the security, you have to pass through multiple doors with passcode to get to the dorms where you will get a locker as well, and the city was generally quite safe so I wasn’t worried at all.
Another thing worth mentioning is its extremely central location. Located right on the Royal Mile behind the St Giles Cathedral, it is literally the heart of tourism in Edinburgh. I was able to get to the train station, the castle, the new town on foot just under 5 minutes, which is perfect for any itinerary planning.
Apart from the usual things you expect from an accommodation, there is also tons of activities you could join, ranging from daily walking tours to all kinds of tasting. Sadly I didn’t have the time to join, but if you are staying for a longer period, you certainly shouldn’t miss out!
In conclusion, I was impressed by my experience and will certainly stay again traveling on budget."
"A stones throw from Haymarket Station. A walkable distance from the centre of Edinburgh, nicely of the beaten track at the end of the day. Plenty of local bars, restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores in the immediate area. "
"Anastasia, the front desk manager was outstanding! She helped us tremendously when booking day trips. She gave us incredible advice on delicious restaurants. Highly recommend. We also use the spa service and it was lovely. It is very convenient. Bus stops right outside the door of the hotel. Walkable to the Royal Mile. "
"This was a great place to stay. The staff was very nice and friendly. It was close to everything. I was able to walk everywhere and felt safe. I would definitely stay here again. "
