"Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, great location. The only issue would be the outside noise with this place being located essentially right in the heart of the entertainment district. The staff does provide you with earbuds in your room, and honestly those do help if the night is still going on. If you're a light sleeper or not taking part in the festivities it may not be ideal for you. Beyond that though, this place is a good choice - very central to just about everything in Galway."

"Location was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful but we've felt we had to request for things...not a biggy but noticeable. We're not really big on breakfast so can't offer any feedback but their scones and jam were pretty good when we had them."

"The Skeffington Arms Hotel was a perfect place for our stay in Galway. The hotel is centrally located making seeing the city easy. Offsite parking is close by and the city is very walkable. The hotel is well maintained and quaint. The bar/lounge next door has great food and music. Very happy with this location."

"Our hotel room smelled like kitchen exhaust the entire time, it was nauseating. The tv did not face the bed. The breakfast was hit miss quality. The staff was aloof and did not ask how our stay was. The elevator was broken, we were on the 4th floor. The bathroom door did not fit the frame and you could see through. The room was not cozy- tile and hardwood only, no carpet. Which is good because it would only smell like kitchen exhaust. Galway, however, was grand!"
