Excellent Stay

Lovely comfortable stay at Salthill Hotel as a guest of a wedding. The hotel is gorgeous and staff were so friendly. Rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed and good TV.

Exterior signage on the road was difficult to see, but the service was great. We had arranged in advance and then extended a day when we arrived which caused a computer hiccup about checkout, but they were great about getting it sorted out. Very convenient to Galway City.

Main restaurant closed during our stay there was a bar and Grill available. They were somewhat shortstaffed took a while to get food and drinks. However, staff was very friendly and accommodating. This property lacked accessibility to drinks and snacks and coffee. These things only available in the restaurant.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff and great dining (be sure to check out the deserts - yummy). Liked being so close to the promenade and water. We caught the close by bus and enjoyed all that downtown had to offer.

We thought all was quite good. We were looking for more quiet within the pool/spa. It was a Saturday and wedding day so we get it. Wish the parents in the pool area with small kids would not entice screaming type play in the pool. If was painful and deafening which was a disappointment.
