Self checking process. Room was over all clean. We did clean the fan before turning it on. It is in a quieter place in town and allowed us to sleep even with the windows open. This was very needed after the last hotel. Walking distance to the square. Staff was responsive and communicated before and during our trip if we had any questions. We would stay again.

The property is conveniently located close to everything. Unfortunately there’s no way to leave your luggage there if you arrive prior to check in but there are a few paid luggage storage places near the train & bus stations. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice room, comfortable and close to everything. The windows are on the actual sidewalk so it can get a little noisy if people are having loud conversations while walking by. Since there is no A/C, during Summer you need to open the windows. Otherwise, the noise would not bother you with the windows close.

We had such a wonderful time here! A little bit odd at first as there are no physical workers everything is done through a check in screen at the front but a very beautiful property a 7 minute walk from the town center. Very clean and easy to access the train station, bus station and all meeting spots for tours to the Cliffs of Moher/Connemara!

The property is clean, check in is straight forward, and the beds were fine. Reason for not giving five stars is the noise. During the day, instrumental music plays loudly in the hallways and is heard clearly in our room on the first floor. Luckily they turn it off during the night, but if you want to take a mid day nap it’s quite annoying. Also, every time someone opened and closed the main door, it loudly shook our room door, so much so that we thought people were breaking into our room during the night. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.

No way to choose a room that I could tell so ours was right by the only entry door with a ground floor window to the street. We paid well over $300 a night for it. The room was nice, basic but fine. Very clean . Good bathroom.

The place was clean and comfortable and the ear plugs were a nice touch. It would be helpful to have a shelf in shower to hold personal shower products and a shelf at small sink for tooth brush etc. enjoyed stay.

The automatic check in machine wasn't working so it didn't print out room cards . I couldn't get into my room . When I phoned the help line I was told that someone would be there in 15 mins . 45 mins later someone did arrive . The problem was sorted but again later that night I couldn't get into my room 🙃. I had to check in again to get another room card. The help line was not answered when I called . However the room itself was nice , clean and comfortable. The location in town is good and the price was reasonable 👌.

We really enjoyed our stay at Woodquay Townhouse in Galway. It was very clean, updated and cozy. The staffless checkin went very smoothly. We were given clear concise directions prior to arrival on how to get into the property and then once inside we were able to follow the touchscreen directions on how to get our key. It was an extremely easy process. The hotel was located in a great spot and a public parking lot ($10 per day) was very close. My only concern with this hotel is that once we arrived in Galway we had two questions for the staff. I sent them two messages and no one ever replied or got back to us with help. Other then that it was a great place to stay.

Great location. Easy check in. Cosy cute room. But, when we checked in, while it was clean it smelled really badly as if it had been cleaned with smelly mop/cloth. Once we opened the windows and aired out the room it was fine in a few hours. Our room wasn’t re-made after the first night. We didn’t get fresh towels, so small things tk improve on.

Lovely room and kind staff

I had a very comfortable stay at The Woodquay Townhouse. Upon my arrival I did meet Liam who was extremely kind and helpful. There isn't concierge service, but if you do get to meet a staff member, they are lovely. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. It's not central, which I found to be a plus as it can get very noisy downtown. It takes about 10-20 minutes to walk to the city-center.
