Hotels near Padang Beach

"Nice resort to look at but… so many things made me VERY disappointed. - mold around the pool - grass and weeds on palms around pool - forever to get a drink. SO Slow. Could have drunk 3 drinks in the time before my drink came. Lots of staff standing around. - service was ALWAYS so slow - ran out of pool towels - felt like the place was being cheap - overall feeling in the resort wasn’t a happy vibe. Other guests weren’t impressed. - there ‘included food’ option was terrible- do not do that. 1 menu and one restaurant to eat at. Very sick of that after 5 days. - location was ok but unless you like walking up a dirt road next to an interesting accommodation with lots of men hanging about you might want to taxi or bike to shops. - to get to the beach you have to walk out of hotel towards water down a path with an intense stair case - those that have any walking issues not recommended. - did like the breakfast buffet but again asking for coffee not from the auto machines (only one working) took a long time. - staff were sweet but it’s oblivious management is doing a lousy job, not training, not prioritizing maintenance, zero attention to details or maintenance. - could greatly increase revenue by speeding up time takes to get a drink. - they increase prices during happy hour then give u 25% off. So bad, a drink was listed 3 different menus (online, hard copy then hard copy happy hour all different prices) beware!"

"Great breakfast menu, fresh pressed juices, good coffee, beautiful infinity pool over looking ocean, city and beaches with sunset views. April is the best time to visit. "

"The staff were intrusive and didn’t respect privacy, asking too many unnecessary questions about personal belongings. The room was not clean, which made the stay uncomfortable. On top of that, the facilities felt outdated and poorly maintained. Overall, not a pleasant experience."

"Amazing ocean front views! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money, however, I don't think I would stay again. There are approx. 200m of stairs to get to the hotel. Can be challenging for some, especially those who like to explore outside the property. There are porters to assist with your luggage. The hotel restaurant was a little overpriced compared to restaurants in the area. Scooter rentals, massage services are available. If you're able-bodied, I would recommend staying at least once for the stunning views."

"Only had a one night stay, but it was terrific all around. After a few nights in Ubud, we stayed in Ulawatu area to check out the nearby temple and be near the airport for our flight out the next day. The villa was spacious, with all the modern western amenities. Enjoyed the personal plunge pool. Bed was comfortable. One critique we had came from listing on Hotels.com and I don't attribute this to the property, but Hotels.com says the hotel is a six (6) minute walk to the Ulawatu Temple. In actuality, it is a 20-25 taxi/Grab ride away, so don't expect to be able to walk if you plan to go to the temple or have tickets to the fire show. If you want a new, modern resort in Bali, you won't go wrong staying at this resort. "
