"The hotel was in a peaceful location of Kyoto very close to the Philosophers path and surrounding temples. The roof terrace and complimentary happy hour drinks was a wonderful edition at the end of long day of sight seeing to soak up the views and relax. The breakfast was excellent - a perfect balance of fresh vegetables, baked bread and fruit and yogurt. And the staff were so helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Would definately recommend"

"Built in apps for streaming, visa capable laundry, multipurpose bath/shower (rain head), cafe was excellent with an onsite bakery. English speaking staff which was unusual during our trip. View was meh, but being at the back of the hotel helped as the hotel is on a main road. Breakfast and dinner were also very tasting and filling. Italian cuisine and open kitchen. Reasonable prices. A great boutique hotel away from the centre."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier. The room was very comfortable and beautiful, and the view over the river was absolutely awesome. Kyoto is definitely a wonderful city, and staying here made our visit even more enjoyable. The staff at the front desk were also very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent for exploring Kyoto, and overall we had a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Our issue was very specific and might not affect most. There were limited gluten free options in the restaurants for lunch and dinner. Although you can convince a chef in other places to grill fish or steak easily, it was not an option here, at least in the common restaurant. Breakfast was better. They had gluten free bread and many options. Also, all restaurants (there are two other special ones) close rather early. But other than these (which might not be a big issue for most) a really good hotel. Fantastic staff."
