Toyoko Hotels are usually great. They are clean, convenient, and affordable, and they tend to have lots of useful amenities or people who might have forgotten to bring something like a toothbrush or razor. This particular hotel has a really convenient location that's a short walk from several train stations and from a couple of very charming and pleasant shopping arcades. Miidera (三井寺) and Lake Biwa (琵琶湖) are also manageable walks. Otsu is a lovely and underrated city, and this hotel is in a really nice part of the city.

Nice hotel, clean and well maintained. The beds are unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The included breakfast is a nice touch but the breakfast area is not large enough to accommodate all guests making it very busy un the morning. You also almost can't sit at the bar stool area as a shelf under the table prevents from fitting in your legs. Overall ok but would look elsewhere next time.

スタッフ対応・設備面はさすが東横INNといったところで、安心できます。朝食付きなのもポイントが大変高いです。 しかし2026/10月時点では駐車場が所謂旧式の立体駐車場サイズ(横幅1.8mまで、高さ2mまで)のため、昨今の大型化した車では入れません。 入らない場合は近隣パーキングを自費利用しなければならないため、提携等あればなお良いと思いました。

京都観光の宿泊場所として利用させていただきました。京都市内へのアクセスがとてもよくて大変よかったです。 混雑時にあたったためか、立体駐車場に入れるのに苦労しました。 朝食はロビーでのバイキングですが、場所が広くないためオープン前にかなり並びました。 施設は綺麗ですし、これと言った不満はありません！ ありがとうございました。
