"Amazing hotel even a free drinking on arrival "

"Elevator was broken. Old broken down furniture. Black mold in the bathroom. All around horrible property."

"The room was not clean when we entered. There were dead bugs in the tub and some unknown substance near the sink. The white towels had brown / red stains. We asked for a change of the towels and those also had brown / red stains. Hotel is pretty old - paint is flaking off everywhere. No slippers in the room (had to ask for it). No tooth brush / tooth paste. Calls to conceirge were not answered. In terms of staff, I expected them to move my bags into my room given I'd dropped off my bags with them prior to my check in and then went outside for lunch / to explore the city. Spa wise - pretty well equipped with 2 saunas, 1 steam room, 1 salt room and 1 ice room. "

"Great location hotel. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms only cleaned every 3 days which meant we were always chasing for top ups of teabags/milk and toilet roll. Very hard beds. Bar charges a “service charge” for pouring your drink and passing it to you - not table service - which we all found to be somewhat disagreeable . Did not try restaurants. "

"Nice deluxe room, good breakfast options, parking was safe, great location of the hotel and liked the staff's efforts to make Easter weekend feel special."

"After an incorrect booking at another hotel - the Holiday Inn Express - IHG were on hand to help. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. At check in the member of staff explained the parking rules and confirmed a deal for reduced parking rate - Thank you Nella! I would highly recommend staying here and will be staying here again in the future! Thanks"

"Booked a double bed and found a twin had been allocated. Otherwise, room comfortable size but windows were unnaturally sealed. Eating area was shared with lounge unfortunately, as the furniture was totally unsuited for breakfast eating. This debacle will prevent any future stays. TV's in lounge were built into the pillars and permanently live. They need replacing as the screen display was worn out. "

"As there is so much static coming from the floors and dry mops there was bits of fluff. The stand for the coffee/tea was not dusted. It was not obvious as to how to connect to Wi Fi. The TV was too big for the room and the sound would cut in and out of most channels available. "
