"Very posh hotel. Huge. Offers great facilities but as we’re only staying a night was not able to use them. Great size room with a balcony looking at a fully bloomed Sakura. Location is very walkable to a major train hub Shinagawa. Can’t go wrong with this hotel. Great choice. Leaving luggage if you’re too early or leaving late is not an issue. Just ask. "

"Being right across the street from Shinagawa Station is the best part about this hotel’s location. Hotel staff were professional but were not the kind to give you the warm fuzzies. Hotel and rooms themselves were somewhat outdated, but clean. Would stay here again in a pinch, but not necessarily first choice."

"When we arrived we were told our reservations had been canceled. They said we were late. I asked if they had informed Expedia and they said they had not. It was late and we asked for help on getting another hotel. They indicated they could not. We begged and they got us one room. They were not helpful . We ended up moving to the APA in Ropongi. It was much better and a third of the price. Most importantly, it wadin the middle of nowhere. We thought we were staying at the hotel New Otani. The Otani inn was nothing like the hotel. We will never ask Expedia for advice. It was not helpful or correct."
