My family stayed here for five nights total and it was the best hotel for us. Great service, clean, with a very nice restaurant with delicious food. We tried a massage and that was wonderful as well! The hotel's landscape and garden are gorgeous and well-maintained. Thank you!
First off, the spa has limited hours and was closed the first day I was there; in addition, you have to pay about as much to use the spa as you do to to stay in the hotel. The spa looked really nice, but I never got to experience it. The swimming pool is quite bland with water a bit too cool for my liking and I was afraid to put my head under water for the fact the water wasn't very clear. The food in the restaurant was very good but had the atmosphere was that of a hospital cafeteria--zero character. Even worse, you could not order any alcohol at all on the premises. The big grass area in front of the spa was very nice. The rooms were simple, clean, and without a mini-fridge.The bathroom was big and nice, except for the old shower door that didn't close so all the shower water would go out onto the bathroom floor making it very slippery. I had to dry it with my towels afterwards. What a mess that was. Would I stay there again? I doubt it
The staff is amazing and really doing their best to help you.
There is a really big supermarket less than 5 minute walk away where you can buy everything.
The pool area is really nice and super clean. Everything is surronded by beautiful trees and a nice garden and it has a nice atmosphere.
There are a few taco restaurants/food courts nearby, but for other food you need to go somewhere else.!
Cleaning was spotless and they have nice towels.
You need to take a bus or taxi to get to the historical part of Oaxaca.
The breakfast buffet was too expensive for us so we bought things in the supermarkedet instead and therefore, it would have been nice with an available refrigerator.
The beds and pillows are really hard but that seems to be the standard in Mexico:-)
Y no
