This was my first time in Oakland and if we are ever back in the area, we will stay here again. It was clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfy, just what we needed.
Everyone I dealt with was super nice and helpful, from the parking attendant to the front desk people to the cafe counter staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet - perfect.

This is a great hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotel isn’t too big which is an advantage, and it is a little old, but it is clean and has all the essentials that you would need including a restaurant and a small gym. It is only a few minutes walk from the train station.
The front staff was amazing. Michael from the front desk was great. Diego did valet parking and was so sweet with explaining how it worked and waiting patiently for my friend and i to grab our stuff. We had also ordered door dash to our room and they called us to inform us that our dasher was on their way up to us. Would definitely stay here again.
Clean and updated rooms, very friendly front desk staff and convenient location! All at a good price.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The only issues was the price of parking. It came out to $54 for the night; just be aware they charge this fee as well as a $50 deposit on your credit card at check-in.
The staff at check in counter were friendly and very helpful. Always ready to assist guest. The Bistro has amazing food. They offer great healthy options. The hospitality the Bistro crew and bartender was great and friendly. Room cleanliness was great.I would definitely stay here again.
Staff here was excellent and so friendly. Very affordable hotel for the area.

The room was on a lower floor so unfortunately the cars on the street could be heard- although that’s not the hotel’s fault. Some of the towels and the couch, as well as the walls had stains which were off putting to see. The walls are also quite thin with the connecting room door. The next room’s ~activities~ could be heard clearly into my room which was very unfortunate. Hotel is a bit older looking inside but at least staff was very friendly. Regularly saw cleaning staff and security which was reassuring.
Cleaning staff was awesome, they get 5 stars!
Room was noisy. Could hear people clomping around all night. Sign in elevator says "happy hour" at 6. There is no happy hour. Bistro is supposed to be open at 5 but still closed at 5:15. Heating wouldn't change no matter what temperature you set it at. Warm water in the shower, never hot water.
