"The hotel is charming with a homey feel. The cleaning staff were very attentive & helpful when I needed to rotate the mattress and have the broken bedframe fixed. Initially the mattress has a sinkhole in it, but they were able to adjust it somewhat. I live the location of the hotel, but the entry stairs can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage as we did. "

"Well located midtown hotel that is old but well maintained. Our room, with two double beds, was small but pretty standard sized for Manhattan. The front desk was friendly and helpful, and maintenance was fairly quick to respond to issues with a clogged sink and with the heating system. Unfortunately, we were told that despite a room thermostat, building heat was centrally controlled and the only way we could lower the room temperature was to open a window. Overall, we had a good stay at was one of the more “reasonably” priced midtown hotels."
