Booked here because I wanted a place to stay close to Barclays Center that wouldn’t break the bank! This was perfect-cost effective, cozy, and convenient. The staff were very welcoming and friendly!

Stay was very good. Had a smaller room and it was fine - a bit bigger than the pictures seemed. Two stops on the LIRR toward Brooklyn from JFK Airport/Jamaica Station gets you to Nostrand Ave, and then it’s a short, safe six block walk to KLO.

The KLO guest house was clean, affordable, and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was really nice. Host family was very nice and let us leave our luggage there before checking in. The area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops. Also close to public transportation.

What i mostly like about this place is how clean and quiet it were. The convenience to all the Caribbean spots, only disadvantage is there's no parking, so you have to take public transportation. But i love my stay and will go back next year.

All was good with the place. Nice and clean and comfortable. My only issue is that on Expedia it states there is off street parking and they don’t. I checked other online booking sites and they don’t list parking is available.

Feels like staying with one of those family members who makes you feel welcome but gives you space. The room was clean, quiet, and safe. The hosts and other guests were friendly but everyone had their own day to get to. I loved it here and will be back.

Room was spotless and comfortable, in an old, Charming brownstone on a pretty street. Access to a full kitchen. Close to Brooklyn children’s museum and botanical gardens. Merci et à bientôt!

Good price point, good stay. Rooms are located in a classic brownstone building on a residential street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Very close to the subway, so easy to access the city and more tourist central parts of Brooklyn. I live in the area and needed a place for a couple days between apartments, so I am already familiar with the neighborhood. Could use some upgrades like linens and toiletries, but otherwise a decent place.

I was so disappointed by this place. I knew It was minimal when I booked it but it was less than that. The bed was horribly uncomfortable- I stayed one night and then had to go sleep on a friend’s couch because it hurt my back so much.The smell of the air freshener made me feel sick, everything was just at a much lower quality than I had expected based on the photos and description. The whole place was a disappointment and I left after one night. I would like to get a refund for the rest of my stay. Please contact me, I have sent multiple messages since the first night!

I liked the vibe of the , working class neighborhood of old Brooklyn houses. Brownstones, stoops . The family members (owner/ "staff ") were available and helpful. I was very satisfied with the shared kitchen, and was quite comfortable in my room with private bathroom. Nice shower, great air-conditioner! Hard to find anything affordable in NY, so I chose simple/ no frills here and was happily surprised.

Not the most salubrious part of town but in no way intimidating. Close to local amenities, 10 minute walk to Nostrand Avenue subway hence only 15 minutes to Manhattan on the A Train, gotta say also that the family/staff who own/maintain the property were just fine. I'd definitely stay there again.

Overall it was fine. We were in town for just one day for an event. I think the value is good for where it's located. It's about a 10 min walk to the train station. The bed was comfortable, clean room and very quiet area. Almost no sound. Some other things to note: - Parking is street parking in case you're driving. - Be mindful of where your activity is, it's farther than you think. I didn't realize how far it was from most of the places we needed to go. - You are renting a room, like a hostel, not the whole place, please be mindful of the other guests and your noise. - Doors are heavy so if you're not used to it, be careful of it slamming behind you or your fingers\hands as you operate it.
