The hotel is dated and needs the carpet cleaned in the room we had bathroom clean but also dated. Bedding was clean and fresh. "A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"

"Nice old hotel, great positioning the sea front and substantial gardens. Had double superior sea front room which had coffee/tea biscuits and bottled water. Room s are a little dated but comfortable and warm with great views. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly and they do a great job of ensuring it's kept clean and dog odour free. Like all British seaside hotels could do with a lick of paint and some small maintenance but overall a nice place to stay."
