Eype's Mouth Country Hotel

Eype's Mouth Country Hotel

8/10 Good
"Approached down the sort of steep, narrow and winding lane that makes urbanites nervous, the hotel has a mercifully spacious carpark. Our room was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, and the waiting staff exceptional. Can't really comment on the local amenities: our short visit coincided with very high winds whipping the sea into massive waves so the beach was dramatic and sadly inhospitable."

"We booked this stay at short notice as a stop off point on a longer journey. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Andy, Veda and gorgeous pooch Lily. Veda welcomed us and gave us information about eateries ( we chose Rakhang Thai which was freshly prepared and delicious). On street parking was easy and free a few doors up from the house. Had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Lovely quiet location and easy walk to local amenities. Tea and coffee making available in our room. Breakfast and a very lovely chat with the hosts in their kitchen before leaving. Brilliant value for money."

Yurt with Private Hot Tub and Bathroom

Yurt with Private Hot Tub and Bathroom

8/10 Good
"The yurt itself was amazing, beautiful and very clean with the added charm of your own private hot tub and fire pit, the downside for us was the private toilet/ shower was situated away from the yurt and at night no lighting & very dark the torch provided sadly didnt work. The communal kitchen are was beautiful however the induction hob didn’t work, a Pyrex oven dish that was filthy with caked on food, a couple of dirty pan and pan cupboard that needed cleaning, otherwise to a high spec finish. We enjoyed our stay. Staff are amazing, very friendly. The place is a little different to find - off the beaten track. The place is very relaxing and peaceful, a great place to visit to get out of the rat race of everyday life and reset."
