This was such a great place to stay for a weekend event in Southampton - easy to find parking nearby (Ocean Village), welcomed immediately by staff and room was a great size - we loved the decor throughout and excellent amenities all included in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range available.

We stayed at the White Star for only One night and throughly enjoyed it. Great location. Lovely rooms with a comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a dinner & breakfast in the restaurant. Both delicious meals. Highly recommend this place.

The White Star is a lovely place with nice seating inside and out and a good range of beers. The staff were lovely and helpful. Food was good. Our room was a bit on the small side but clean and very comfortable. This review would have been 5 stars BUT Oxford St is a popular spot with lots of bars and restaurants and unfortunately the bar just across the street (10 yards away) played very loud music outside until 1.30am and our room was on that side of the White Star. Rather spoilt our trip and certainly made sleep difficult. Not the White Star’s fault, but apparently Fri and Sat nights can be noisy until late.

This was a fabulous place to stay for 2 nights before my cruise. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was included and it was great! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Southampton!

What a jewel on Oxford St. Wild about our room and the attention to detail used in the decor. Our welcome was personal and thorough. The location was ideal for the areas we wanted to see like the historic district.
