"A great place to stay. Thank you to all the staff and management who were all so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, the pools and gardens were beautiful. The breakfast and food was very nice. Hotel had a great view. definitely would stay there again."

"We liked our stay at Smaranala as a stopover to our next stay. The room was nice and the pool excellent.
The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. It is located in a strange residential place, not really close to any shops or food opportunities (you´ll find them after a lot of walking in unlit roads).
Unfortunately the breakfast was not included, which is always disappointing."
