"Cons: You have to pay for something special for a birthday....this is the only hotel who ever done this and it was disappointing to not have at least something small complimentary. VERY far from the main city especially during traffic hours (and cabs are expensive) and the nearest bus stop is 20 mins walking away. NOTHING to do or walk to in the area. Breakfast was the exact same everyday. Pros: Friendly / helpful staff who spoke english well Clean rooms Food tasted good and 4 hot options for breakfast"

"We had such a lovely time at this hotel we extended our stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The pool was cold but so refreshing on the hot days, we spent most of our time here during the day, bar was open and the bar staff were very pleasant and attentive . Our room with the terrace was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The maids did a great job keeping it fresh and tidy. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh, plenty of choice and very delicious. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back"

"It's a little dated. Bedroom was comfortable and a decent size. Gym was really hot, but had the equipment you needed. Breakfast had good GF options."

"We stayed in 6 different hotels around Italy in a 2 week period, and Hotel Berlino was by far the least friendly and the least accommodating. There was loud construction right outside our window throughout the stay. We requested a refund to leave and find new accommodations, but they refused. The overall vibe of the hotel was a bit sad, and we tried to not to spend any time there beyond sleeping. I wouldn't recommend."
