"The only good thing about this hotel is the view. The service was fine checking in. Although the view was great upon entering our room in the kings row building, that was about it for positives. The room reeked like musty smoke. The doors were filthy. We wiped them and the bathroom knobs and handles and our wipes were black when we finished cleaning. A wash cloth was dirty when I went to use it. There were strange, plastic like netted covers on the chairs, I suspect to cover gross chairs. Made us not want to sit on them! We went onto the balcony and it had stains from pets all over the place. Then when it gets dark, the staff light the fire pits outside. The smoke billowed into our room which caused my husband severe allergic reaction, with red and swollen eyes.
We will never stay here again. 3 nights for 950 bucks, is a waste of money. Additionally, guest smoking weed next door was annoying as well."
"There is a reason this is a cheap place. You don't get much. The room I was in had poor water pressure. The shampoo was out. They provided a bar of soap and the body wash dispenser had a little in it. The pillows were thin, but the bed was comfortable. The TV had plenty of channels and the wifi worked ok. I had to ask for the wifi password, though. They did not provide that without asking. Check-in was like any other place. They had actual room keys like it was 20 years ago. In fact, everything about this motel was like Bush had just invaded Iraq for no valid reason. The town is small and seemed sketchy, but nothing happened to me. The key dropped out of my pocket when I was at a restaurant, and someone returned it. The best part of this place is that two doors down is a bakery and restaurant with delicious Mexican food for a decent price. The bakery goods looked amazing, although I only had one churro at breakfast. This is where to get your morning coffee."
"PARDON THE RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION: Room was newly remodeled but I don't think they are finished with final things. Like there were no towel bars to hang your wet towels and no toilet paper holders. Brand new TVs were being installed in the lower rooms along with other renovations going on. The construction crew were pretty messy with the trash and the wind blowing didn't help much. The outside property was not clean looking at all, but WOW the rooms look really nice! The one negative thing I have to say is that there is no coffee in the room. They have a coffee machine in the lobby but I went at 6:45 AM and the lobby was locked so be sure to ask what the hours are to get a cup of coffee. Overall, once renovation construction is over, this place will be really nice. Construction was quiet and kept reasonable hours. Construction is taking up a lot of parking spaces during the day, but at night there was plenty of parking. I will stay here again."
"The rooms were so dirty and no towels. The 1st room had no lock on the door the the 2nd one had no TV then they blamed me for it being missing. Would not recommend."
