"We felt absolutely spoiled here. The room was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. Easy to find cabs and the bus was just outside giving easy access. Good restaurants within walking distance though not in the thick of things. Definitely recommend."
"Comfortable room. The in room washing machine was a bonus because we thought it was a shared laundry. Kitchen area was great for cooking basic meals. "
"Recently stayed here for 4 nights and had a really nice time. It’s in a walkable area, with restaurants and a 7-11 close by. The staff was incredibly helpful and our room was clean and spacious. Would stay here again. "
"The staffs were very kind, and the facility was very clean and neat. My family loved the atmosphere. We were able to enjoy Japanese style room very much. I definitely would love to book this hotel again. I appreciate all the staffs"
"The room was clean and the beds were comfy, the location was pretty close to all the main shopping streets as well making it a great place for the price. "
"Overall, the room was excellent. It was a great experience and will for sure book again if I visit Kyoto. The wooden deep soak tub was the highlight of our stay. It was soooo relaxing. Close to some sightseeing places, just a bus away. The staff was excellent on communicating. Will highly recommend this place! "

"I'm thoroughly impressed with the service I have received at Kyoto Tokyu hotel. I have stayed in other hotels in Japan, but this is one hotel where I felt really welcome, taken care of, and safe as a single woman traveller. The service staff have excellent "omotenashi" skills and are very generous, and I felt very comfortable communicating with them. Although the room was a basic standard room, the faciliites were nothing short of excellent. It was very easy for me to visit the top locations in Kyoto by commuting by bus near the hotel. Most hotels allow for check-in at 3 p.m. and check-out at 10 a.m., but at Tokyu, you can check-in at 2 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. I thought this was really great. Overall, it was very much worth every yen I spent on the room. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I return to Kyoto, and will for sure recommend their services to people I know. Thank you very much, Hotel Tokyu! (P.S. I thought it was really cool that they had the option to play the radio in the room, and the lady staff who helped me out in the room was really kind!)"
"Lots of great little restaurants close by, including K-ing coffee where we had great coffee and snacks.
Nice quiet hotel and conveniently located. Helpful staff. We loved it."
"Everything was GREAT, however I think that the breakfast offerrings can be improved based on the price charged when compared to other hotel breakfast offerrings and definitly there is a need for more washer/dryer laundry unites ... the 2 combo unites cannot servive that entire hotel....it was like playing hide and seek and catch to be able to wash and dry clothing !"
"Great spot in Kyoto, all the main bus stops are right outside the property, it is walkable distance to the main shopping/dining area. 15 minute walk from Kamo river and 7-11 right under the property for any late night needs you might have.
The rooms were extremely clean, the shower was amazing, the street view from our room was perfect and they were able to accommodate early check-in by an hour since a room was available. Only positive things to say about this hotel."
"Located only a couple of blocks from the main train station, this hotel was a great pick. Incredibly clean as you must take your shoes off at the entrance and roll your luggage through water before entering the lobby, and your room. The variety of hot springs baths you can choose from and the extras, such as evening noodles, ice creams and massage chairs make this a great place for families to stay. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants nearby along with a token Don Quijote just down the street. Also on the same road as public buses 205 and 206 which take you to the tourist attractions such as the golden Pavillon. "
"Magnificent stay. This is probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. All staff were extremely helpful and even helped me contact the JR rail people after I left my passport on the train. The spa is amazing, and the location cannot be beat. I was genuinely sad to leave. "
