This is a lovely, modest hotel in an ideal location for walking & attending events in Melbourne. Recently updated with a pleasing colour palette. Courteous & friendly, helpful staff, parking available close by. Wonderful comfortable bed & pillows, room temperature suitable for sleeping. The bathroom while original was so clean, and has a feature not found in many more modern hotels, the mirror is not affected by shower steam.

The Mercure Southbank is a great hotel in a central but quiet location in Melbourne. The rooms are clean and quiet and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional and always willing to help. Would absolutely recommend the Mercure for a visit to Melbourne.

Friendly staff, great location. Bathrooms need renovating but were clean. The only issue i had was that i asked for a king bed, which was 2 singles pushed together. One mattress was higher than the other. Not a comfortable sleep.
