Le Meridien Charlotte

"Communication around breakfast and the needed voucher could have been better. No one mentioned it when I checked in and that Id need to stop every morning to get one. I asked Le Meridian concierge to break a $10 one morning, they sent me to the concierge at Sheraton who sent me to the Starbucks who said they don't keep cash which was annoying. No extra toiletries in the room like makeup wipes or qtips. Overall, experience was fine and my expectations for value matched the cost."

Moxy Charlotte Downtown

"Moxy is a sexy hotel brand and this property did not disappoint. Registration/front desk is on the top level which while a tad confusing on arrival, it treats you to a beautiful view of Charlotte. There’s also plenty of games to play during your stay. Our room was efficient and on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed: comfortable bed and a relaxing bathroom. One evening, we had a drink at the bar while an R&B music event was filling the rooftop with delight and it was very enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for a short trip for its’ location and amenities."

"This hotel is lovely and very nicely appointed (has great amenities like robes, good coffee, nice fridge, comfortable bed, great views). The only two reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is (1) the room was warm, even when we turned the AC down and (2) the bathroom door creaked SUPER loudly, especially in the middle of the night. (Alerted the staff, so hopefully they fix ASAP.) But otherwise, it is a great hotel and I would absolutely stay here again!"
