"An absolute fantastic stay, made more special by the hotel, its staff, the location and the standard of hotel. Wonderful room, junior suite with all the amenities you would expect, spacious, spotless, wonderful bed, double shower, mini-bar, coffee making etc. What made the stay wonderful was the politeness, friendliness of the reception staff, super helpful and even more so, it was my partners birthday and the housekeeping staff must have seen the birthday card I had given her on the bedside stand, and that evening there was a knock at the door with a bottle of fizz and chocolates compliments of the staff, an amazing wonderful gesture and example of excellent customer service and communication between departments within the hotel. The location of hotel is perfect too, within the Gothic Quarter and so convenient to walk around town. Cannot praise this hotel enough. "

"Other than smaller than expected, our Triple 2 room was nicely updated. Liked the sturdy balcony window that open/shut easily, as the street was full of lively pedestrians 24/7 (happy we brought ear plugs). Nice bathroom fixtures and shower had good water pressure. Breakfast buffet had good selections. 3 decent size elevators. Helpful staff. "

"Although the street the Hotel was on had construction going on where you had to zig zag around it the staff of the hotel made up for it in great hospitality. They lent us umbrellas because it was raining. Walked us across the street in the dark to a waiting cab due to an early departure. No matter how trivial the question we asked they answered with a genuine smile. The hotel helped make our trip to Barcelona a memorable one."
