We had a great time at the Nordtropic after moving from the city. Unless you are wanting the city experience I would recommend the Mactan Island resorts. If you want to still go to see the city it can be arranged. Hotels are a lot nicer and less expensive here.

Its amazing to stay here except poor hotel transport service or external taxi support to go around cebu. Price is beyond our control.
Dusit should improve the frequency to down town and other new area like Nustar, sm seaside city.
