Hotels near Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre

"The place wasn't bad, only on the 1st floor while going to the pool was there the smell of a marijuana (skunk). Didn't smell it outside and only on the 1st floor. Was great walking distance to the park (Six Flags). 1st night we did get locked out of our room after going to the pool. So, we sat wet for about 25mins, till the manager could come and get the key from his office to unlock our door. They did give us a different room after that and was only a mild inconvenience. Also, when they say breakfast included, be sure and understand this is cereal and milk, orange juice and coffee. That was it. Guess you could look at it as "you get what you pay for". As for 2 nights and walk to Six Flags, it was good. "

"Construction was going on next door but parking lot still wasn't that bad. Nice clean hotel lobby an room. Great breakfast in the morning. Definitely would recommend an stay again. Probably be lot nicer when construction is completed. "

"Room 209 smelled like mildew and smoke. Doesn’t seem like the vacuum very well near the beds. The shower shot water everywhere. The entire property just seemed a bit cheap and thrown together. No thank you next time."

"The room was nicely updated, they just forgot to update the mattresses. The mattresses were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve slept on. Very old and worn. Everything else was ok."

"Hotel was dirty. Looked like they hired some monkeys from the zoo to come clean. Breakfast consisted of crusty coffee and a few dried up granola bars. Overall Hotel smelt like a hot noodle fart. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, rooms were clean , bathroom was clean, bed was comfy, and it was dog friendly. I’d say there again. "

"Great stay, but next time if you have active small kids need to be on the 1st floor instead at the top. The running constantly was the only downside "
