Tour historic homes, gardens and Civil War relics in the Atlanta History Center. Learn about one of America’s most iconic brands at the World of Coca-Cola museum.

Meet over 120,000 sea creatures, ranging from massive whales to tropical fish, at the Georgia Aquarium. Zoo Atlanta has exotic animals from all parts of the world.

Find walking paths, a lake, sports facilities and picnic areas in the centrally located Piedmont Park. Entertainment meets wilderness in Stone Mountain Park, a sprawling area surrounding a huge piece of exposed granite.

Learn about famous past Atlanta residents. At the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, see the humble birthplace and final resting place of one of the most important figures in the civil rights movement. In a small apartment building in Midtown, visit Margaret Mitchell House and Museum, where the author of Gone with the Wind wrote her famous novel.

The hotel is wonderful. The only negative was the ease in cost of parking. Even the parking attendant was frustrated with the situation and very apologetic and patient with all the guests. I would stay there again just for the staff.
