"Very small family-run resort. Lot of charm. Clean and large swimming pool for a 3-bedroom hotel. Very friendly. The small negative points: beach full of natural garbage (vegetals) and ants in the room are very aggressive. Ask for help to the wonderful staff"
"Liked how it was so close to the beach. Shame how, like many others have pointed out, the alley is full of holes and floods with rain water most days.
Also disappointing how people were partying in the hotel pool until 4.30am. No staff around to deal with it and no reply when I messaged them about it. I tried to get them to quieten down but I'm not getting in a fight with 6 or 7 drunk guys!"
"The pictures that are posted online are very deceiving. The room has a musty smell and very dusty.
The management didn’t do anything to accommodate us or even offer to transfer us to a different room.
The floor feels unsettled.
I would definitely caution booking this resort. I hope the owner/management would correct this issue "
"For travelers seeking convenient access to the Pier and Airport, this location is optimal, especially for those on a budget, like myself, who prefer to avoid transporting heavy luggage to Boracay. If you are flexible and can accept outdated restroom facilities, this establishment is a viable option. The presence of on-site laundry and restaurant services is a significant plus."
"The staff, facilities, location, not crowded and the view from our room is what I was looking for in our 2 nights stay. I 100% recommend Monaco to the world 😊 and will plan to stay again in the future."
"We loved our stay at this tranquil retreat only 5 minutes from the beach strip and all that has to offer. Daily massages, treatments, beautiful sirroundings and service with a smile. I highly recommend Mandala Spa & Resort."

"Fantastic option in Boracay. Great location right by the beach in station 2. Felt welcome right from the start. Room was fantastic with a nice comfy bed and all the amenities you'd expect from a good resort hotel. Excellent pools, plenty of services, great breakfast and a nice pool bar. Friendly staff and a short walk to many of the best restaurants. Would stay here again."
"Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Although some parts of the unit was dated like dining chairs, living room couch, wood flooring, I still think the accommodation was superb! Staff were very helpful and polite. Nothing was too difficult or too much to ask. Love the location, away from the busy areas. Truly a place to relax. Would go back in a heartbeat! "
"Stayed there for 4 days 3 nights. Close location to everything. The breakfast buffet is excellent and they serve different everyday. Beach is 3 minutes walking distance. I’m not a fan to those beach front hotels because it to noisy and crowded. The hotel is just a little bit outdated but it’s very quiet. "

"We stayed at Commander suites de Boracay for 5 days and it was a great hotel, the rooms were a good size very clean, the pool was good but had limited space to lounge around, the location was great 2 minute walk to beach, the hotel staff were very polite but that's Filipinos in general, the restaurant served a decent breakfast and the menu and the food was top class. All in all a very pleasant stay and would stay there again."
"I had a great stay at CocoLoco Boracay. This is a cleassic Beach Hotel in every way. Just steps from a very beautiful white sand beach, the hotel is one of the original hotels in Boracay.
The bar/restaurant area looks right out onto the beach and it is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a good variety of choices on the menu. They keep their beers and sodas nice and cold, too.
The room I had was quite large with a large comfortable bed, plenty of room to store my belongings and ample outlets for charging. The AC is one of those rectangular wall units, so it does make noise, but it didn’t bother me. The rooms are set back in from the beach area so they are quiet. I never heard any barking dogs or loud partiers in my room. There is also a balcony.
The staff was very good at the hotel and immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were always available to assist and performed all their tasks well. All of them were always friendly to me and anticipated my needs. When I checked put very early on Monday, they were prepared for me and got me transportation to the ferry terminal at 4AM.
I really enjoyed my stay at CocoLoco because I love a good, basic beach hotel for my stays at the shore. "
