Excellent central location in lovely Lucca. Walkable distance to/from the station. Charming residence with lots of character and historical appeal. Can highly recommend.

Lucca central good find
A little hard to find but worth it when we did, very good location in the centre of beautiful Lucca. A very helpful guy on reception helped us with directions and taxis We had a large and very clean room in a lovely old house.

Stayed in Room #6. Check in was easy with electronic lock at from door. Rooms located on 2nd floor with no elevator so had to carry suitcases up. Staff was nice to inform us that within the city you need a car permit to drop off and pick up luggage (parking is not allowed within the city walls). Room was also quite inexpensive for the area. As for the room. Pros the washroom looked clean and renovated. The room was quite big with 2 large queen beds. Cons the rooms air conditioning was not working or at least I could not get it to work. The room was very dated and tile floors were cracked throughout. Tile grout of floors looked as if it had not been cleaning in the last 20 years. Would not stay again.

Fantastic location, relaxed hotel though check in was complicated. Facilities to prepare your own breakfast. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant next door and very close to a grocery store.

Great location, easy to find and very nice room. Also wonderful coffee, cappuccino etc machine and small kitchen to share. We were able to stay an extra day since we loved Lucca so much. Thank you Residenza Storico!

Ideally located in the heart of Lucca this small gem is a great place for your next trip to this wonderful town. Checkin was easy as everything was perfectly explained, room was nice and cozy, even water and tea provided in the room, coffee in the kitchen area for free. What more could you ask?
