"We’ve stayed here a number of times when visiting Fowey. The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, the beds are really comfy the sea views are wonderful. Our room this time was suffering from some damp with the wallpaper peeling off a bit but it didn’t really detract from our stay. Breakfast is always lovely, although there was a very large loud group and perhaps it would be better if they were offered one end of the restaurant so the rest of us had a more relaxed experience! "

"The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. "

"Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

"We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. "Great little guest house and comes with a free car parking space. Donna was an excellent host along with Mia the friendly rescue dog. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts followed by a full Welsh or eggs on toast or a bacon sanwich etc. Deganwy is licensed so we were able to enjoy a drink or 2 in the evening. " My stay at Coombe Farm was nothing short of amazing! The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and steeped in history, which added a unique touch to the entire experience. The presence of animals and the stunning views made the stay even more delightful and memorable. The host, Gemma, was exceptional. She welcomed us warmly, accommodating our early check-in and ensuring we felt right at home. Her accessibility and readiness to assist with anything we needed added a personal and friendly touch to our stay. If I were to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the addition of a full-body mirror and a larger ironing board. However, these are minor details in what was otherwise a superb stay. Overall, everything about our visit was fantastic, and I would highly recommend Coombe Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway."
