"This was our third visit to the hotel, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The estate is beautiful, with excellent facilities and a convenient location near Lancaster and the university. A truly comfortable and relaxing stay."
"The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Lancaster for shops, bars and pubs. Check in was very easy.
Don't know if it was the building, but getting mobile data signal in the room was difficult - make sure you know what the Wifi code is before going in! Ideally having it in the room somewhere would've been really useful!"
"Was always really clean, the staff was always quick to respond on whatsapp. Changed the towels frequently. Really nice position and really nice rooms."

We have been to Lancaster many times as our daughter goes to university here. There are a good range of shops, cafes & bars. Williamsons Park is worth a visit and Morecambe is only a short drive away.

From the hotel you can take a short walk along the River Lune cycle to the aqueduct. Definitely worth climbing the steps to the canal over pass and following the canal around the outskirts. The White Cross restaurant in Lancaster was lovely.
