"Room was lovely, junior suite 64. Reception staff were very helpful, with requests for a fridge,a more comfortable chair for my husband, and sorting out tv. Breakfast was really nice. It was a shame weather could have been better, but did not stop us from going places. "

"Had a really lovely stay for two days as we were going to a couple of shows. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat and good variety of food. Some good bar foods available too. Clean room and bathroom, but could have done with some dusting on lamps and shelves. Staff were really good and helpful. We found the hotel charming and a real lovely old feel to it and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Staff were amazing. More warnings should be provided on the availability of the pool (as there are so many children’s lessons). Very hot and an ambient stale smell in common areas. Felt a bit like a care home for walkers. Breakfast was good. "

"Excellent modern and spacious apartments with everything you need to self cater in lovely green surroundings. Can be tricky to get there, so need a car really but it’s a very comfortable stay. The main hall/bar is beautiful, especially when they have piano player on at weekends. Value for money, especially silly with midweek stays and we have stayed many times now. Have tried a massage in the cabin next to the swimming pool which was nice but yet to try the swimming po - aiming to do that next time. Wonderful place for a bit of quiet time to yourselves. "
