"The welcoming staff was so nice to be met by after a challenging drive. Room was clean, comfy bed, roomy bathroom, quiet. Nice selection of snacks for purchase and restaurants close by. Breakfast was good as was the coffee. I felt safe there."

"Absolutely wonderful! We loved our hilltop view, the fresh air, and the complimentary coffee in the morning. Our room was pristine and the staff were exceptional. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. Downtown is easily accessible while still feeling removed (which is ideal for us). We were surprised firewood wasn’t included with the room, but it was worth the extra fee. And breakfast options are limited in my opinion, so we opted to eat downtown instead on our second day there."

"Nice hotel with some historic charm. The staff was friendly and nice. Overall a nice place to stay, but unless you have something to do at the ETSU campus, it is too close to all of the students, the traffic and noise for my personal preference. The bar is great! The restaurant is adequate, but they need to work on their seasoning overall."
