Had a very comfortable and stress free stay during a busy week in South Lake Tahoe. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming, and let me keep my car parked there past my check out time, when parking around Stateline was at a premium. This was or rather is a great place for a one night stay. The rooms or the hotel seemed to be rather antiquated. There’s no charging area for your phone, so make sure that you bring your phone cord and the box to go into the outlet and the room is also equipped with old-fashioned AC box units. Check-in is at three or four and there’s no one at the front desk to greet you. You have to call a phone number to get service overall was a decent experience close to all amenities outside the hotel the casinos food dining shopping. Again, I would recommend this for a one night day definitely.

This is definitely more of a budget hotel, so keep your expectations realistic. The location was convenient, with easy access to South Lake Tahoe and the casinos, and the room didn't have any bad odors, which I appreciated. On the downside, the room itself was pretty worn. The floors squeaked a lot, the bed wasn't very comfortable, and housekeeping never came during my stay even after I requested it. The one positive was that the cleaning staff did clean my room on the last day after I asked again, and the housekeeper was friendly. Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay, but it felt like a typical two-star hotel. If you're just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep close to the casinos and don't mind older accommodations, it'll do. If you're looking for comfort and better service, you may want to spend a little more elsewhere.
