We liked the fact that we could walk to all the shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Sidewalks were clean area well lit and safe The staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean Will definitely come back again

Everything was wonderful but our view. I paid for a lake view but our view was a small window and could barely see the lake. All we saw was construction. Very disappointing. Our shampoo and conditioner was not refilled and our refrigerator did not cool. The air conditioner in the room did not flow well so we were hot at night. The room is extremely big which our kids loved.

The lack of self parking explanation in the reservation or by hotel staff when we arrived made everything very confusing and stressful when we first arrived. At least the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The property is very nice and remodeled, although it did feel humid in the hotel not a whole lot of air circulation. I stayed two nights. On the second day, I did request housekeeping to clean my room, but they never came. On the last day, Housekeeping came in my room at 9 AM and woke me up and asked me when I was going to leave, I did talk to the front desk about these two matters. Make sure that you take all your valuables out of your car when you hand over the keys to valet because I did have an item missing from my car and I did report it to valet they did comp two days for valet service charge .

The property and room was clean and just as advertised. We had an issue with a leak in the ceiling in the shower, but they immediately came to check it out and gave us a different room. Other than that small inconvenience we didn’t have any other issues.

Arrival: Poor Valet and Bell Service. Checkin: Ok. Room Plus: Clean, nice. Room Minus: Noisy AC, terrible humming thru the wall from Outside equipment area below our room. Which we asked to be moved to another room due to my wife’s noise sensitivity. The night manager Scott said there were no rooms available. So we had to leave and find another hotel to stay at. Scott was nice and said that all room & resort fee charges would be credited to us and we thanked him. Store: Minimally stocked, expensive a (4) pack of Reeses Peanut butter cups $6.50!!! Bars: Only went to Chill bar which didn’t open until an hour after we arrived at 5 pm even though the place was super busy. Should have been at least (2) Bar Tenders for the amount of people waiting.The Bar tender worked hard and made good drinks. Restaurants: Only went to JWB for dinner. We had no reservation so we sat at the bar. Ordered the Surf & Turf which was delicious. The Bar Tender provided great service until the end when we paid. I gave him my credit card and was charged someone else's bill. He apologized and corrected it. Then he missed charged me again. This time he said he couldn't fix it and the manager would and charge it to the room. This turned into several days of phone calls and going back to the hotel to get this fixed. Epilogue: We contacted Expedia who worked with the hotel to get our room charge and resort fee refunded, but still problems with misc. charge on wife’s credit card. We would not stay again

Hotel is huge but only 2 people at check-in so you have to wait a long time in line. Elevator stops every floor and you have to waste 10am just to get to the lobby. Valet takes 15-20min. Basically a waiting game just to get anywhere.

This property is in a good.location - easy to walk to alot of South Lake Tahoe eating and shopping. The pool is small and needs a good cleaning. Also the pool is so full of kids it is not really an option.
