The staff was very nice! The only way to book here is through Expedia. This is a motel-looks a bit nicer online. The dresser had sticky stuff on the top, the comforter was kinda crunchy. I didn’t touch the sheets to be honest. I laid my towel down and slept on that. The blinds are not well made so car lights shine right through them even when fully closed. At night the hotel really comes alive so the parking lot was quite loud. Very close to the lake and walking distance to a bunch of stuff.

We booked The Ambassador through Expedia and had a great experience. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well kept. It made our stay in Lake Tahoe relaxing and easy. The rooms were nice, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place during your trip. Everything was walking distance

Clean room, friendly staff, and great location. It's walking distance to Heavenly Ski resort, to restaurants, and to shops in the main street of Lake Tahoe. It's also walking distance to the Casinos. The only complain I have is that the walls are very thin - we can hear the people talking in the other room. We just got lucky that they weren't partying during our stay.

The price and location were good. Close to heavenly village and the lake within walking distance, just a basic motel room though. I will not be returning due to the heaters/furnace units being so LOUD, this was ridiculously loud and woke me up multiple times. It sounded like a loud bang against the wall/floor. The office door even had a sign about the noise being not a concern. The noise also startled me when I was fully awake. There are also no AC units to keep in mind during the summer.
