Quaint lodge nearby to Heavenly Village and beach!

We stayed at the Gondola Lodge for our first stay in Lake Tahoe in late August and couldn’t have had a better experience. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom appeared recently updated. There was a pull-out couch, but if using both beds the room would be very tight. We also used the outdoor amenities and enjoyed! Quick walk down to the beach, and even quicker walk to Heavenly Village shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

My family loved the lodge specially the jacuzzi. They enjoyed it. Spacious. Had a full kitchen. The floors were dusty though and probably the kitchen needs new dishes. Overall loved it.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The kitchen was perfect for my husband and I. We had a fireplace that kept us warm. The only thing I would say I wasn’t crazy about was how cold the bathroom was but it wasn’t horrible. Our neighbors upstairs were loud but they were better on night 2. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Ms Jennifer and Aria made sure our rooms and overall stay went as smooth as possible as it was very last minute because our initial reservation (at Worlmark) canceled on us a few hrs before check in time . We were so glad we stayed at Gondola Lodge instead. The location was absolutely fantastic and our connecting rooms worked great. Their kitchens were bit tight, but had everything we needed to prepare meals. Their strict quiet policy was greatly appreciated, it was very peaceful. We'll definitely come back for our Summer trip and recommend this place.

Loved the proximity to the beach area and that we got discounted prices to the lakeside beach. The rooms were average. Nothing to hype up. The hot tub and pool were a little run down. My husband and I didn’t want to get into it. But my kids had fun playing there.

Wonderful place to stay

This was our first time here. It was full the first couple of nights but quiet and able to park inside the gated area. The room was clean and everything worked. Nice little kitchenette that had all the basics, plenty of closet space to hang clothes, bed was comfortable, fireplace was nice, shower/tub combo with nice hot water with decent pressure and it had a back door off bathroom you could open to let air flow (opened to a patio we used to store our bikes). The manager checks in with you and is reachable via text or phone call. I asked if there was laundry facilities and they responded quickly. They have two sets of washer/dryers, one upstairs, one downstairs. The manager on site was very kind and personable. It is also walking distance to everything, shopping, restaurants, etc. We had a great experience staying at the Gondola lodge and we’ll definitely be back again.

Location was perfect, close to everything. The hotel was interesting. Never saw staff at all. No check in person ( everything gate and door coded) If you didn't get parking inside the small parking lot enclosure, you parked outside the secured gate. The room itself, was not clean. The shower floor was dirty. I felt the need to wear flip flops in it. We changed the sheets after the second day as the ones that were on it smelled dirty. Window air conditioner was in the bathroom, so the bathroom was freezing and rest of place muggy. I probably won't come back to this place. The grounds were nice and pool looked nice.

John made all the difference. Anything I needed he was right there to help. I had an issue it was quickly resolved. In the future for my taste I’d try one of the larger spaces (I’m a lady with too much stuff) this space is perfect for a short stay or just to crash/ski it’s perfect Location, location, location it’s a block from all the action of South Lake Tahoe.
