Hotels near Lake City Community Park

"I decided to lose the money and not even stay there. The area it’s in is very sketchy, the people around there were scary and then you walk into the hotel and it does not look clean. The building itself was rundown, the air conditioners looked to be leaking some type of liquid that was not normal, etc. I requested at least a partial refund and have heard nothing."

"Our overnight stay was fine. The room was clean, however there are no knockout shades on the window which causes unwanted light to come through. Also a train track is nearby, which contributes to some noise. Additionally, they are undergoing repairs to one of the elevators so there were extended wait times. Because we only required the one night visit, it was annoying but not unbearable. The positive feedback is the staff members are extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good and the dining rooms were clean. "

"It is not as advertised. When you first get there you are standing behind a glass window and aren’t allowed in the lobby. The room had a hole in the wall where the smoke detector should have been, the phone was pulled out of the wall and just sitting on the counter, the wood flooring was split and coming up, the tv didn’t have cable it’s just there just because and there is NO ELEVATOR, so if you have more than one bag be prepared to carry it up 2 flights of stairs. I checked out early and was refused a refund (despite booking through Expedia and getting the cancellation protection). Stay away from this place."
