"The hotel is starting to show its age and will need to be renovated soon if it is to remain a good place to stay. The staff are pleasant and cleaners do a good job but it is difficult to hide the need for refurbishment. Rooftop pool is quite small but very pleasant with an amazing view. The sunbeds look to be quite new so hopefully the pool tiles will be renewed as well before long. Well-placed for restaurants, shopping & beach. Easy walk to the newer part of town. "If on a budget the hotel is great. Not the newest or the best, but overall clean, comfortable and located near the beach and in the quieter side of the town. The breakfast is very varied and it is clear that staff is trying to bring something special around the holidays, but the quality is pretty low, so a suggestion would be to lower the variety, while focusing on quality and taste for smaller choice. "Hotel has limited parking. May be risky to park outside of hotel grounds even if you are lucky to find something... Rental cars are an easy target. Busy streets and no where nice walk near the hotel. The water on the island is no good. Hotel does not provide drinking water except at dinner. You need to go and buy your own. The smell of smoke is everywhere in this hotel, Had to move rooms as it smelt so bad. Management insisted it was a non smoking room... however they provide ashtrays...

"Hotel in ideal position,5-15 mins from supermarket,restaurants,beach and main square. Bus station is 3 mins walk. Checking was easy. Rooms are ok but could do with a update. Swimming pool/area was well kept. I rented a in-room safe which didn't work (battery needed replacing) went to reception and was offered a security box till it was replaced, it was replaced with-in 2-3 hours. I would stay here again because for the price it is ideal. "
