We really enjoyed our stay at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho. The place is in a nice and quite neighborhood and has a very traditional Japanese feel to it. You're welcomed with a nice welcome drink with a very cute candy. They also provide a lot of gifts for you to take making it feel very welcoming. It was a nice stay overall.

This stay was an incredible experience. From the moment you check-in, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay exceed all expectations. Little touches like late night in-room snacks, private breakfasts, and very thoughtful going away gifts made this stay very memorable. It’s such a unique experience. We stayed in the Kashiwa Mochi room with open air bath, and it was the perfect blend of traditional ryokan with luxury touches. Felt like our own private home. This place is beautiful and the staff is just as great. Such great attention to detail, the rooms are very clean and very tastefully done. The staff is super attentive and helpful. One of the best places I have ever stayed at. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would very highly recommend getting the breakfast in the morning, it was fantastic.

We were lucky enough to spend a few days of our honeymoon at Nazuna Kyoto Gosho. This Ryokan is incredible, the staff is most welcoming and attentive to every request. Moreover the breakfast is delicious and a truly unique experience. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Kyoto.

Perfect place to stay in Kyoto!

We stayed for 1 night in April 2023 and we loved the experience at Nazuna Gosho. All staff members were super friendly and kind and were able to accommodate all of our requests during the stay. Traditional feel with all the creature comforts you could want. Attentive staff. We had the dinner option one night and it was well worth it. Delicious! Also they have an option to have someone come dress you in kimono at your room. I recommend this over any rental experience.

This place is incredibly beautiful, and every person there is so nice and helpful. Make sure you're hungry for the breakfast, which is both huge and incredibly delicious. Free beer, soda, water, snacks and ice cream. The bath is incredible (especially coming from a person who hates baths; seriously, try the bath).

This place is amazing! We booked a suite with a private semi- open air bath, which was so beautiful and looked out onto the garden. The whole place was so clean and smelt like teakwood. We booked with breakfast included, it was in traditional Japanese style and it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and welcomed with a tour and tea ceremony. All of the staff here are incredibly welcoming and were extremely helpful when my husband and I asked for dinner recommendations and things to do in the area. Overall this place is definitely worth every penny!

This was the best hotel my fiance and I have ever stayed. We loved the private bath experience as well as the beautiful traditional Japanese rooms. Not too traditional as we had a nice big western style bed to sleep in. Our accommodations had a few different rooms. Kind of like our own private apartment. Our favorite was the tatami room where my fiance spent our time relaxing and watching shows after a long day of exploring Kyoto. Also, the staff is excellent. They made the stay very special especially for my fiance. They found out it was her birthday and presented a small birthday cake to her. We will definitely be staying at here again.
