"I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was great, my room was so quiet, clean and had the most amazing view. I slept really well every night and I loved relaxing at the pool area. The walk down to the river behind the resort is also enjoyable. The room and the facilities show their age a bit, but that did not bother me at all. There are 2 villages within walking distance from the resort."

"Great service by the resort staff Dayu Made and her colleagues. Extremely accommodating with their willingness to make sure that we feel comfortable during our stay. Generous servings of food during meals. They even threw in a cake free of charge for my son’s birthday during our stay. Definitely recommended for families who like nature-surrounded resort places👍"

"Our room was clean and spacious. Wifi and smart tv worked well. The property itself is very Balinese which I loved. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is its a distance. "

"This was one of the best hotels I ever stayed at in Bali. It's located in an incredible area, right near Goa Gajah and Yeh Pulu relief carving. It's nearby many beautiful village streets that you can walk through comfortably. The staff are great, rooms are great, food was great, and spa was incredible (try the Boreh here). You will have a great experience at this hotel. "

"Very nice stay overall.
Beautiful property and setting, clean, friendly staff.
The only thing was it is very much out of the way and the road to get there was pretty beat up."

"Great stay....cooking class is really worth doing.....owner (chef) and wife are making every effort to make your stay a great experience..... a little far from Ubud though there is a shuttle....it is really a case of what you want to get out of your visit...obviously worked for ...couple in their 60's."

"The room was spotless, staff were so happy and helpful. The only thing was the road works were a pain to get in and out of the resort! I felt the free shuttle bus should have taken us further in town as it was a 20min walk it the humid heat. Or this should have been communicated before arrival. "
"It is an amazing find..! For a relatively new property which is away from the city centre.. it takes care of every little detail. The staff is courteous and warm, food is delicious, rooms are spacious and spotless ... can't find any faults and would happily recommend it to anyone .. "
"Most rooms had a musty smell and it was hard to find one that didn’t. Restaurant is ok but nothing to write home about. It’s extremely isolated so you’re a bit stuck if the on-site restaurant is not to your liking. Most difficult part was the noise of the on-site OSHO meditation retreat. Expect to be woken up some mornings around 6:00 or 6:30 am by loud tribal drumming and primal screams. Other mornings will be different forms of music and chanting but always something. If you’re a morning person, that’s great (maybe). I’m not and it was difficult, to say the least.
Staff were great, though, and the views were amazing. Most of the waterfalls in the area of Ubud are clustered around this place, including two of the best - Kanto Lampo and Tukad Cepung.
If the rooms were renovated to eliminate the mustiness and the OSHO retreat was moved out, I would recommend it as a remote getaway option."
"Staff were very freindly and at hand when needed. It was a nice quite location to begin our trip away from the chaos one has come to expect in Bali.
The view from the room and dining room into the lush forest was very peacefully.
Breakfast was good, however evening meals were very average. So much so, we decide to take the taxis in to ubud (about 30 minutes away) for dinner for the last 3 nights of our stay.
Food and drinks are over priced for the quality, compared to the local area.it
Bed was ok, however pillows 2 out of 10.
Spa was excellent highly recommend.
Rooms needed some TLC, doors hard to open to bathroom, tap in bathroom didn't work as it should. Towels were clean (however stained) they need to replace them.
Overall l think its rated as 4 star (maybe 3.5 stars) They just need to improve food, replace linen, review each room from top to bottom)
The hotel price/package was good, however if we stayed in this area again we would try somewhere else."
