Our stay at Alisa Cruise was disappointing for two main reasons. First, the overall experience is extremely touristic and industrial. All activities they offer end up being very crowded as you do the same activities as at least another dozen boats. They took us to a beach which was so tiny and busy and we preferred going back to the tiny...

"Amazing place overall.
Some facilities are a bit worn out such as stand lamps, fridge in our room wasn't working, and TV needs some proper reset as some apps doesn't properly install anymore.
Despite all those, the big question is would we come back again? Definitely, my son had fun and loved every other areas it offers.
The office room is also very quiet and has good net speed if you plan to do some work just incase.
It has a souvenir store which sells family friendly items, and also offers over counter medicines on the clinic. However if you need very specific needs or items you may need to travel outside the island."
"Stayed here for a week, had a lovely time playing golf and doing the day cruise around ha long bay which was organised by the hotel. Simon made us feel really welcome and comfortable during our stay. He couldn’t have done more for us and checked in with us throughout. My boyfriend was really unwell during our stay and as soon as Simon was aware he did everything to help which made it so much easier for us, we were grateful to be there when he was unwell. "Spent 2 days with family at hotel. Would definitely recommend. Quick ride to boat terminal. Room was clean. Pool was great for the kids. The 2 ladies, Diem Phuong and Duong Hue , were of great help. Some staff can speak English and Mandarin. Hope you enjoy as much as my family did. Only thing to keep in mind that buffet breakfast hours are different from weekdays to weekends. "
"The resort is amazing with breathtaking view.Our room is very nice with balcony facing the bay. Breakfast buffet is plenty and variety with different foods choices. We love the service here and staffs are very friendly and polite.The resort also has electric taxi to take you to into the town with small fee. "We stayed for four nights in the Citidenes, it had a comfortable working space, is close to the boat tours, a great gym and yoga studio as well as two pools. They also have free bicycles for you to explore the town. We stayed in an apartment style room so cooked in the fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend. "
