If you’re in the area then this cruise is a must. Rooms are spacious, clean and up to date. The view of Ha Long bay from the room is simply stunning. Staff is friendly, helpful and polite. Food is excellent, excursions are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great staff, top notch service, and beautiful modern interior. The views from the restaurant while dining were spectacular. The food was yummy. Our chosen room had an awesome floor to ceiling window with a full size balcony to sit back and relax whether in or outside. The room was also spacious and nicely designed. The excursions were great, the cooking class was fun, and it was an overall great experience for me and my husband.

My wife and I spent 1 night on board of the grand pioneer 2 (February 25, 2026) . Perfect luxury room ( super clean, panoramic view of Ha Long Bay, fantastic food ( brunch with variety choices ) with à la carte menu for supper). Super nice staff. Very reasonable price including all meals with 2 land excursions. Strongly recommend. Pioneers cruise 3 will be launched within the next 18 months. Can’t wait to come back for a 2 nights cruise. Only one downside : February and March weather in Ha long kind of foggy with drizzle. Summer weather would be best for pictures Louis Montreal, Quebec , Canada

Everything was professionally done from the welcome center/waiting area, boat that takes you to yacht, luggages waiting at your room. Boat is impressive one year new. Our experience with Grand Pioneer Cruise was truly exceptional. Beyond anything we expected. From the moment we stepped onto our transfer, to the waiting area, everything was seamless and beautifully organized. The room was absolutely stunning: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. It felt luxurious yet comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy the journey. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. Every single team member was incredibly kind, gracious, and attentive. Their warmth and professionalism elevated the entire trip and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. This was our first cruise experience, and it could not have been better. Grand Pioneer has set the bar incredibly high - we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.
