I stay at the Dusit "Club"---costs a bit more but the perks are well worth it. On the downside---the hotel often hosts conventions and special events which makes for lots of people and sometimes some noise...but the Dusit Club is above it all--literally"

"The hotel is located quite ideally with the beach on one side (literally a one minute walk) and numerous food places and a nigh market within a 5 minute walking radius. Property is very clean and the staff is quite helpful. The breakfast has a great combination of Japanese, Thai, Indian and continental spreads. The only shortcoming was limited workspace in the room as a business traveler. It would probably not be a concern for someone who is just there for a vacation."
