"4 night break meeting up with friends. The staff were all friendly and proactively helpful. We did not use the spa, but parking was okay and the two 22kW EV chargers a welcome bonus. Location was perfect for town centre. Weather was wet for much of the time but we found plenty to do within a reasonable distance. Would happily stay here again."

"Room was in desperate need of redecoration. Coffee mug stains on the bedside table, dirty carpet (stains as well on carpet), trim peeling away from wood above bathroom mirror, dusty lampshades. The windows really need replacing as there was a constant breeze coming in through them. I stayed 4 nights and my room wasn't serviced once in that time - so I made sure to take out my rubbish every day. On the positive side, the view over the lake was fabulous, it was great to see the sheep wander past the window in the morning, and it was quite quiet - which was great as it was so near to the motorway. It was also very convenient being right on the M6. The staff that I spoke to on reception were lovely too. "

"Excellent staff made us feel so welcome the room we stayed in was nice and quiet, evening meal at the restaurant was nice, the breakfast was superb the toast was really good and the mushrooms tasted so good."

"Conveniently positioned on the high street close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are in the cobbled courtyard at the back of the pub. Very quiet, comfortable with everything you’d need for a good night’s sleep. We were in Titania room. The shower was excellent! As we stayed in ‘off season’ the kitchen wasn’t operating so a very good continental breakfast was put in our room fridge. "
