This is a lovely hotel, well located for stunning views of the landscape. Our room was well decorated, and had a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower. The walls were pretty thin, we could hear people in the neighbouring rooms around us. The bed was really comfortable, excellent Wi-fi and a smart TV on the wall was perfect. We had an evening meal which was served in a cozy room with an open fire, I can still taste the lovely Borders Beef. Breakfast was similarly great, and meant that overall we had a great stay.

Food and service were excellent. Comfortable room, but stairs very narrow. Headroom an issue because of low ceilings in places. Very windy the evening we were there and it felt we were in a “wind tunnel”. Not a problem for us, as we were v. tired. Would definitely stay again.
