"The outdoor onsen was great"

"I rate this hotel pretty high but the only thing I didn’t like was the bed. The bed was pretty hard for my body and only one pillow. Everything else was good. It’s close to the lake, restaurants and bus stops. There were great many amenities available. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were very helpful."

"The view to the Mount Fuji from my room (331) was amazing! However, apart from that and helpful staff the hotel is quite run down. Breakfast was very poor, especially options for westerners."

"Great little hotel. Was clean. Rooms are simple. Typical Japanese style. Padding on the floor and sleep. Service was good. They do free pickup and drop offs for the train and bus station. Which is a nice bonus. Would recommend this place. There are a couple of restaurant right in front of it. Very quiet and peaceful there. There’s also a grocery store not far. "

"Wonderful experience overall. Onsen was lovely especially having the open air bath in the room...all baths give a different vibe but all relaxing. Really enjoyed the Kaiseki but would've been great if they did allow you to report food allergies in advance so they could adjust menu. With my shellfish Allergy one meal set was very limiting. So next time probably wouldn't add that to the experience. Staff were friendly. The view from the room of the lake was amazing ..view of Mount Fuji from the observation deck was awesome. Overall a very relaxing stay...would definitely come again and very happy we stopped here on our trip to Japan."
